Greetings from the chilly wilds of Sierra Nevada. I stumbled upon a ticker symbol with which I was not acquainted, and that compelled me to write this post to you. Let us begin with a simple chart of the QQQ in recent months:
The chart is pleasant inasmuch as it has taken a sudden lurch lower, but it isn’t a particularly easy chart to interpret. There’s no clear pattern, no clean gap..........it’s actually fairly inscrutable. And yet there is a different chart which is based on the same 100 stocks but is vastly easier to read:
