Full Semi Success
semiconductors are finally rocking the free world
There isn't any sector I've been more brashly bearish about than semiconductors. This entire space has been the beneficiary of AI Mania, pushing valuations to insane levels and making what used to be a niche graphics card manufacturer for video gamers into a nearly $4 trillion-dollar behemoth.
I was really sweating it out last week as AMD, which broke its long term trendline (blue arrow) kept trying repeatedly to get back to the other side of that trendline. As the four arrows show, it failed each time, affirming the crucial nature of this otherwise invisible line. For the past four trading days, it has been coughing up blood.
You can see on the longer-term chart why I have no interest in taking profits on my puts.
